High efficiency in applying carbon dioxide to greenhouse vegetables

First, the mechanism of carbon dioxide application. The carbon source required for photosynthesis mainly comes from carbon dioxide in the air, and the content of carbon dioxide in the greenhouse directly affects the yield of vegetables. The concentration of carbon dioxide in the air is quite stable, about 300 PPM. The vegetable greenhouses are closed and can't be exchanged with the outside air at any time, often causing the carbon dioxide content in the shed to be lower than outside the greenhouse. According to the determination, the carbon dioxide concentration in the shed before sunrise in the sunny days is 600PPM or higher. After the sunrise, the plants undergo photosynthesis for about one hour, and the carbon dioxide concentration in the shed is reduced to about 100-200PPM by about 9:00 am. After a few minutes, it can reach 1500-2000PPM. After 3 hours, the carbon dioxide concentration in the greenhouse remains at 500PPM. After the air release, the concentration of carbon dioxide is the same as the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air, dropping to 300PPM. Therefore, increasing the greenhouse carbon dioxide content to meet photosynthesis needs can increase vegetable production.
Second, the application period. Seedling vegetables of leafy vegetables are the best period for the application of carbon dioxide, which can help to cultivate strong seedlings, shorten the seedling age, and accelerate the development of seedlings; the use of carbon dioxide from the flowering stage of fruits and vegetables to the fruit enlargement period is the best and can promote flower buds. Differentiation accelerates fruit enlargement and maturation, reduces the occurrence of teratogenic fruit, and significantly increases early yield.
Third, the application time. The optimal application time of carbon dioxide should be carried out shortly after sunrise to maintain a high carbon dioxide level in the facility. In order to prevent the indoor and outdoor air from being blocked before the greenhouse is released, the supply of carbon dioxide is insufficient, causing photosynthesis to stop. If the carbon dioxide generator is used as carbon dioxide, the fertilization time can also be appropriately advanced to achieve the required carbon dioxide concentration within half an hour after sunrise. Ventilation is required within the protection facility at noon and should be stopped half an hour before ventilation.
Fourth, the method of releasing carbon dioxide. There are many ways to use the chemical reaction method to produce carbon dioxide, and the source of carbon dioxide is very wide. Dry ice is generally used. It is a low-temperature solid carbon dioxide that can be sublimated to gaseous state at room temperature. Or use strong acids and carbonates to produce carbon dioxide. It can also burn biogas, natural gas, fuel oil, propane, etc. as a source of carbon dioxide. In addition, the application of organic fertilizer can also increase the carbon dioxide concentration in the shed. Practice has shown that the application of carbon dioxide can be increased by 800-2000 PPM in cucumber. In a greenhouse of 667 square meters, with an average height of 1.5 meters, 3.6 kg of ammonium bicarbonate, 2.23 kg of sulfuric acid, and a carbon dioxide concentration of 1,000 PPM can be used. The application of carbon dioxide gas fertilizer to grasp four points: 1 application time should be arranged during the day closed period, after the release of the wind generally do not need to use. 2 It is best to use porcelain containers instead of plastic containers when adding sulphuric acid and carbonic acid to generate gas. 3 The use time should be carried out one hour after the exposing of the haystack at sunrise. 4 It may not be used on rainy days or at night.
Fifth, the effect of carbon dioxide gas fertilizer. According to the test, carbon dioxide was released in greenhouses, and 667 square meters of cucumber were increased by 901 kilograms, with an increase rate of 28%, and an increase of 667 square meters was more than 500 yuan. According to Gansu agricultural data, greenhouse greenhouses with carbon dioxide are released. The growth period is shortened and the yield is doubled. The tomato blossoms are earlier and the yield is improved. The fruit becomes larger, the color becomes brighter, and the peak harvest period is advanced.
