Peach tree four-season grafting seedling raising technology

Grafting in spring

From mid-February to the end of April, the moisture of the rootstock has risen. It can be cut at 8 cm to 10 cm from the ground, and the scion of the variety can be grafted by cutting. The survival rate of this method can reach 98%.

Summer grafting

From early May to early August, when the sap flowed vigorously, the peach tree sprouted, and the new bud was not yet full. It was a good time for budding. The dormant buds can be cut at the lower end of the growing branches or sprouting branches for the scion, and budding is carried out on the sunny place where the rootstock is about 10 centimeters from the ground on the sunny side. Two weeks later, the junction site was clearly bloated, and some colloids were secreted. The buds were greenish, indicating that they had lived. After 2 days to 3 days, the anvil stem was cut outward 0.5 centimeters from the upper part of the interface, and the cut was horseshoe-shaped for quick healing of the wound. When the new shoot grows to about 6 centimeters, insert the supporting column on the stocking of the rootstock, bind the new shoot, and guide the upward direction of growth. If graft survival is found, secondary grafting can be performed quickly.

Grafting in autumn

From late July to the end of September, the buds of new buds have grown in that year, and the scion with petiole can be cut and used for budding. 7 or 8 days after grafting, if the retained petiole touches off, it proves that grafting survives. After planting, you can cut the anvil stem at 0.5 cm to 1 cm at the upper part of the interface before sprouting in the second spring (around mid-March).

Winter grafting

From the beginning of November to the end of January of the following year, rootstock sap has ceased to flow and rhizome grafting can be used. That is, cut the anvil stem from the top of the rhizome, remove the soil around the rhizome and graft it. After the branches are grafted, gently cover the surrounding fine soil and let the scion expose a little. Cover the mulch to protect the lotus root, keep warm and prevent drought. The role of Lili overwintering. In late spring, all living scions will germinate quickly, and the film can be removed from late March to mid-April.
