During autumn and winter seasons, keep warm, but the aroma of ammonia in sealed lofts is very strong, which is not conducive to the healthy growth of meat pigeons. Generally, stoves and vinegar should be prepared for steaming and fumigation to reduce the smell of ammonia, and windows can also be ventilated. In the rainy season, the lofts should be well-kept, and ventilation and drying should be ensured. In particular, the litter under the nest basin should not be affected by damp. The disinfectant is used to spray the lofts and disinfected with quicklime.

The material is to ensure the quality of feed, so that scientific ingredients

Should feed more pellet feed, increase mung beans and shell wheat, reduce shelled grains. All kinds of feeds should be soaked and softened, dried and then fed, and less frequently fed. In the feed formulation of young pigeons, corn, wheat, sorghum and other cereals should be added. The feed of the producing pigeons should contain enough protein, and the breeder generally feeds on the principle that the production pigeons are fed and the pigeons are fed.

Drinking supplies sufficient drinking water

The water intake of meat pigeons varies with changes in the environment and temperature. Caged-type meat pigeons drink more water than flat-type meat pigeons. Drinking fountains should be clean and hygienic. The water supply should be clean and pollution-free.

Adding health sand and cod liver oil

In order to increase the weight of meat pigeons and improve their health, 7 to 30 days old meat pigeons are fed with 2 special health sands, 1 at a time, and 1 cod liver oil per day. Health sand should be ready for use, generally after the first mix of coarse sand, bone meal and shell powder, etc. (1 time with 3 to 4 days of volume), and then feed the small amount, easily oxidized, and easily deliquified ingredients, Premixed with well-prepared health sand.

Light increases lighting time

In order to allow the pigeons to eat more food, promote their rapid growth, and increase the time for the hens to feed the pigeons, it is better to open a few 6 to 10 watt energy-saving lamps in the loft at night.

Dove nests should be increased or decreased according to seasons and temperature changes to ensure that meat pigeons do not get cold on the abdomen.

To wash the pigeons regularly

Regular bathing can not only prevent the parasite's invasion but also stimulate growth hormone secretion and promote growth. The young birds that are raised on the Internet are bathed in baths and washed once every 15 days. The caged breeders use a sprayer to spray water, which is usually washed once every 20 days.

The tone is changed on time

Change the position of the young pigeons every 2 to 3 days so that the young pigeons are balanced. If one young pigeon dies, the remaining one feeds half a day of yeast tablets to prevent overgrowth.

Prevention is to do a good job of disease prevention and control

The breeding pigeons introduced from the outside must undergo strict quarantine and isolation observations. Try to be self-professed and self-supporting. Do not breed other livestock and poultry in the pigeon farms. Pay attention to cleanliness and regular disinfection. Drink pigeons once every 5 days. The breeder should be in good health, free of infectious diseases, and enter the rearing area after being sterilized by the disinfection room. At 12 to 13 days of age, young pigeons are prone to dyspepsia, pharyngitis, and ecchymosis. At the age of 8 days, prevention was started. A half-a-day yeast tablets could be fed every day, and 1 health sand was fed every morning and evening. The cold of the young pigeon is fed with half a cold film and 1/6 piece of chlortetracycline each time, 3 times a day, 3 days can be cured; if suffering from ophthalmia, drops of chloramphenicol or chlortetracycline can be 2-3 times a day.
