The Beijing Drug Administration issued a drug quality announcement that in the third quarter of this year, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Food and Drug Administration was facing the city's pharmaceutical production, operation and use units, and completed 1,560 batches of supervisory sampling tests, of which nine batches were unqualified. Although the unqualified rate was only 0.58%, the unqualified products involved commonly used drugs such as Sanhuang Tablets, Enteroylitis, and Cold-Clearing Heat. Most of the reasons for disqualification are traits and content determinations that do not conform to regulations, and do not involve drug quality issues.
The Beijing Municipal Bureau of Food and Drug Control stated that the unqualified drugs that were exposed would be handled according to law and they would be strongly encouraged to follow up on random inspections. All drugs involved in batches in the announcement shall be promptly sealed and reported to the regulatory authorities.
The nine batches of unqualified drugs were: ibuprofen sustained-release capsules (20101130) produced by Jilin Daojun Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.; entero-inflammatory particles (101102) produced by Hainan New Zhongzheng Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.; Shandong Xinqi Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Simvastatin tablets (20110213) produced by the company; Sanhuang tablet (101102) produced by Shandong Jianmin Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.; Kaisailu (20110305) produced by Qingdao Huarentai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.; produced by Fusong County Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd.
