Plans for community doctors for each family

Ding Xiangyang said that if the people are willing, Beijing will strive to provide family doctors for each family within two years. Ding Xiangyang also revealed that in the future, the city’s elderly people over the age of 100 will be paid by the government in addition to Medicare reimbursement. In the future, hospice care and rehabilitation hospitals will be gradually established in the community.

The city plans to list the “Capital Medical and Health Coordinating Committee” in September to integrate municipalities, subordinates, universities, and military hospitals, implement localized management of unified scheduling, and comprehensively analyze and evaluate the city’s medical data.
