Bureau of Statistics: Chinese medicine prices rose by 14.2% in August

The data released by the National Bureau of Statistics on September 9 showed that in August 2011, the prices of medical care and personal items increased by 4.1% year-on-year. Among them, Western medicine prices fell by 0.4%, prices of Chinese herbal medicines and proprietary Chinese medicines rose by 14.2%, and prices of health care services rose by 0.5%.
