It is a device that protects the pressure reducing valve and makes it safe to use, and it is also a signal device for the failure of the pressure reducing valve. If the outlet pressure rises by itself and exceeds a certain permissible value due to damage to the valve mat, valve or other reasons, the safety valve will automatically open the exhaust.
2. How to use the oxygen pressure reducing valve
(1) Oxygen pressure reducing valves are available in many sizes depending on the requirements of use. Therefore, the two hemispheres should be kept clean during use to ensure a good airtight effect. High pressure gas can be used to blow off dust before installation. If necessary, a material such as polytetrafluoroethylene may be used as the gasket.
(3) Oxygen pressure reducing valve should be strictly prohibited from contact with grease to avoid fire accidents.
(4) When stopping the work, the residual gas in the pressure reducing valve should be drained, and then the adjusting screw should be loosened to prevent the elastic component from being deformed by pressure for a long time.
(5) The pressure reducing valve should avoid impact vibration and should not be in contact with corrosive substances.
3. Other gas pressure reducing valves
Some gases, such as nitrogen, air, argon and other permanent gases, can use oxygen pressure reducing valves. However, there are some gases, such as corrosive gases such as ammonia, which require a dedicated pressure reducing valve. Commonly used in the market are nitrogen, air, hydrogen, ammonia, acetylene, propane, water vapor and other special pressure reducing valves.
The use method and precautions of these pressure reducing valves are basically the same as those of the oxygen pressure reducing valve. However, it should also be noted that special pressure reducing valves are generally not used for other gases.
