In sexually mature crab species, the gonadal development has been or is almost mature, and the growing season cannot normally grow. When stocking crabs in winter and spring, if the mature crabs are mistakenly stocked, these crabs will die a lot during the breeding period, resulting in greater deductions. Therefore, in the process of stocking crabs, attention should be paid to identifying and removing mature crabs. Sexually mature crab species can be identified by the following points. (1) The abdomen of the female crab forms a umbilicus, and the male crab transfer device becomes a rigid, osteogenic tubular body, indicating that the crab species have matured. (2) The velvet hairs of male crabs are thick and long and dark in color, indicating that the gonads are mature. (3) Look at the color and texture of the crab head and chest. The color of the back of the normal crab head breastplate is light yellow, while the back of the sexually mature crab is dark green or blue. The normal crab species is relatively flat and undulating, while the sexually mature crab species is uneven on the back. (4) Open the crab's head breastplate and inspect the liver area. The female crab has two purple strips and eggs. The male crab has two white blocks (testis), indicating that the crab's gonads are mature. If only the orange liver is indicated, the gonads are immature.
