The disc separator can quickly and continuously separate the solid liquid and the liquid and liquid. It is a kind of vertical centrifuge. There is a small gap between the disc and the disc. The suspension (or emulsion) is added to the drum by a feed tube located in the center of the drum. When the suspension (or emulsion) flows through the gap between the discs, the solid particles (or droplets) settle to the disc under the action of a centrifuge to form a sediment (or liquid layer). The sediment slides along the surface of the disc and is separated from the disc and accumulates in a portion of the drum having a large diameter zui, and the separated liquid is discharged from the liquid outlet to the drum. The function of the disc is to shorten the settlement distance of the solid particles (or droplets) and enlarge the settlement area of ​​the drum. The drum has greatly improved the productivity of the separator due to the installation of the disc. The solids accumulated in the drum are dismantled by the drum after the separator is stopped, or are discharged from the drum without stopping by the slag discharging mechanism.

After a period of operation of the disc centrifuge, the surface of the disc and the drum will be fouled. If it is not cleaned in time, it will not only seriously affect the separation effect of the centrifuge, but also increase the neutral oil content in the oil foot or soap foot. The refining consumption is increased; and the output of the single machine is also reduced, resulting in incomplete separation of the soap feet or oil feet in the oil, which affects the quality of the product. If it is not cleaned in time, it will scale. After that, it will be more troublesome to clean with a ultrasonic cleaner.

Disc centrifuges separate grease and oil feet or soap feet: it is done by rotating a drum and a set of discs inside the drum. The mixture of oil and soap or phospholipid enters the disc group through the lower distributor, and the oil is separated from the soap or phospholipid by the principle of thin layer separation in each disc interval, and the oil flows upward along the surface of the disc, and is lightly small. The centripetal pump is discharged; the soapy foot or the oil foot slides down along the surface of the disc, and after passing through the inner wall of the drum, the tubular separator is discharged by the heavy-phase large-gravity pump. A small amount of mechanical impurities in the oil are automatically discharged from the sliding piston and the drum cover sealing surface.
