Fault 1: The spectrometer can't be excited. All the instructions of the spectrometer are completely disabled by software. Any command operation will pop up a dialog box prompting “IDE Error”, or it will prompt “Argon Low”, “Door Open” and “Clamp Up”. , "Source Off" and other information.
Fault Analysis: This phenomenon is the loss of connection between the spectrometer and the computer, and the network cable interface needs to be cleaned.
Solution: First turn off the analysis software, turn off the spectrometer, unplug the network cable, clean the network cable interface and the network cable plug, clean it and then connect the Internet cable to re-open the spectrometer.
Fault 2: There is a similar power-off phenomenon during the use of the spectrometer or a sudden shutdown during the startup process.
Failure Analysis: This type of failure may be due to spectrometer burnout.
Solution: Use a screwdriver to pry open the cover above the power jack. There are two 205V-5A fuses inside. If the fuse is burned out, replace it. It is also recommended to buy spare parts in advance.
Fault 3: The excitation sound is smaller than usual, and the excitation stops when it is less than half. The dialog box prompts “IDE Error” and the sample cannot be excited.
Fault Analysis: This type of fault is an improper electrode distance adjustment or electrode damage.

Fault 4: For some elements, especially short-wave elements (such as P, Sn, etc.), the detection stability is poor and the error is large. The specific performance is as follows:

2 The instrument has poor stability. After the standardization of the type is used, the instrument detection data is accurate. After one hour, the error of the standard sample detection data is large, which cannot meet the usage requirements.
Fault Analysis: The reasons for the inaccuracy of the instrument for detecting short-wave element data are:
1 Argon gas is impure, and oxygen and water in argon absorb short-wave elements, causing the photocell (or CCD) to receive only the spectrum of some short-wave elements. Excluding the quality problem of argon gas itself, the reason for the impure argon gas is mainly the consumption of argon gas purification tube. The purifying agent of the argon gas purifying tube itself is blue, and when the blue color is consumed, all become purple, or When some of the blue part has turned black, the argon purification tube basically fails. At this time, the instrument's ability to detect short-wave elements is completely lost; if the instrument parameters are good and the light-passing holes are clean, the short-wave can be barely Element detection.
2 The light-passing hole is used for too long, and the surface is dirty, blocking part of the element spectrum, causing the photocell (or CCD) to receive only the spectral lines of some elements.
In short, to ensure accurate instrument detection, it is important to control the purity of argon and the cleanliness of the light-passing holes.
