American Scientists Try to Cultivate Gypsophila Without Trimming

Joanne Jerry is a professor at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and is currently doing research at the Salk Institute for Biological Research. Qiao Rui and her colleague Gregory Watt conducted in-depth research on the plant steroid hormone brassinolide. They found through research that this hormone is a key factor in controlling the growth of plants. Changing the chain of command will allow plants to grow in a specific way.
"We may be able to reduce the length of the grass by reducing the brassinosteroid content in the plant, or we can increase the yield of crops by increasing the brassinosteroid content in the plant seeds."
