The surface of the electric heating plate is usually a ceramic plate, which is suitable for heating the glassware. When heating, it can also be stirred by a magnetic stirrer to accelerate the reaction.
(two) method of operation
1. When using the hot plate, first place the object to be heated on the board surface.
2. Adjust the temperature control knob and the agitation rate control to zero at the same time.
3. Turn on the power switch.
4. Rotate the temperature control knob, first place it at low temperature, then increase it slowly according to the required temperature. It is from LOW, MODERATE to HIGH. or slowly increase by 1,2.....
5. Rotate the agitation rate control knob.
6. After use, cut off the temperature control knob, stirring speed control knob and power switch.
(3) Precautions
1. The surface of the electric heating plate is a ceramic plate. There is no obvious change in the appearance of the heating plate. Therefore, when taking it, the hand should be close to the surface of the board to find out whether the surface is warm. If it is warm, it should be handled carefully.
2. When the hot plate is used, if the surface of the plate is splashed with chemicals, it should be cleaned up immediately. Otherwise, the heated material will be extremely difficult to remove after carbonization, which will also hinder the uniformity of heating.
3. Usually only flat-bottomed containers are heated with hot plates.
4. The magnetic stirrer is a columnar magnet coated with Teflon (PTFE).
5. After the power is turned off, the board surface is still very hot, need to be careful to avoid burns.
