Drying herbs must be timely

The practice of storing traditional Chinese medicine warehouses has proved that if the water content of Chinese herbal medicines is controlled within certain limits under certain conditions, the quality will not mutate. For example, at a temperature of 30°C in the north, the water content of red dates is controlled at 12%-17%, Codonopsis 11%-16%, bitter almond 6%-8%, Beishaginseng 12%-15%, and Astragalus 11%-14. % isochronous, quality changes occur during storage. This is the so-called "safe moisture" of Chinese herbal medicines. It refers to the critical moisture content that can be safely stored under certain conditions and the quality does not fluctuate. Therefore, the harvested and processed Chinese herbal medicines must be dried to the safe moisture limit in time in order to ensure the quality of Chinese herbal medicines. At present, the commonly used drying techniques for Chinese herbal medicines are the following: Sun drying method This is a common drying method for most medicinal herbs. When drying, choose sunny, windy weather, spread the herbs thinly on the mat or on the cement floor, use daylight lighting, and pay attention to turning in time to ensure even sunlight. After the autumn night, the air has high humidity, and it is necessary to pay attention to retracting and picking up the medicine to prevent it from returning moisture. Spreading method The method is also called shade dry method, which means that the medicinal material is placed in the shade of an indoor or greenhouse, and the flowing air is used to blow off moisture to achieve the purpose of drying. This method is often used in rainy weather, or used in medicines containing volatile oils and oils that are easy to take off and change color, such as Zaoren, Boziren, Anemarrhena, Bitter Almond, Codonopsis, Asparagus, Hemp and so on. These herbs should not be exposed to sunlight, but they can be aired in places with less sunlight or shaded areas to prevent oil and deterioration. Drying method This method is a traditional, simple and economical method of drying herbs. The application of the law must be preceded by one or several rectangular fire pits in a room or in a greenhouse. The fire pits have a width of about 1.5 meters. The length can be determined according to the amount of herbs. A small switchable door can be left every 80 centimeters under the fire to add fuel. Then place a stove in it and place an iron plate at the crater of the stove to raise the fireproof seedlings. Destroy medicinal herbs and disperse calories. When the barrier reaches 1.2-1.5 meters high, a round steel pipe with a diameter of 3-4 cm is horizontally placed every 60 cm. A metal wire mesh is laid on the steel pipe, and the wire mesh is covered with mud. Then the fire is added from the mud. Increase the height by 60 cm. Finally, the stove is lit, and the fire and the covered mud are dried. The herbs are placed in the gutter in accordance with the first and second level. However, do not put it too full. Use 30 to 40 centimeters thick. Cover the sacks and straws. Wait. When a large amount of steam rises, it is necessary to open the sack or straw curtain in time, and pay attention to flipping up and down the herbs until it is dry. This method is suitable for dryness of medicinal materials such as Chuanxiong, Alisma, and Campanulaceae. Drying process should pay attention to the control of the heat, so as not to coke the medicine, but also according to the nature of the medicine and the degree of desiccation requirements are treated separately, and some herbs should not be dried with drying method. Drying and Drying Drying Method This method is suitable for large-scale medicinal planting bases. It has high efficiency, labor saving, and cost savings. It is not limited by the weather, but also has the effect of killing insects and driving molds. The temperature is controllable. It is suitable for all kinds of medicinal materials and does not affect the quality of medicinal materials. It is a kind of advanced drying method. However, it is necessary to pay attention to the construction of drying rooms and the purchase of special drying machines in accordance with the technical requirements and standards of the specifications, and they should be operated by professionals who are familiar with drying techniques. Also note that the drying temperature and time are controlled according to the different properties of the herbs. Far-infrared heating and drying method This is a new drying technique. Its drying principle is to convert electric energy into far-infrared radiation, which can be absorbed by the molecules of the medicinal material, generate resonances, cause vibrations and rotations of molecules and atoms, and cause objects to become hot. , After thermal diffusion, evaporation and chemical changes, eventually reached the purpose of dryness. Ziren fruit rice can be dried by this method. Far-infrared drying can save 20%-50% of electric energy, and the effect is better. Microwave Drying This is a new technology developed rapidly in the 1960s. Microwave drying actually uses induction heating and medium heating to make the moisture and fat in Chinese herbal medicines absorb microwave energy in different degrees, and turn it into Heat to achieve the purpose of drying. Microwave drying can kill microorganisms and molds, and has a disinfectant effect, so that the medicinal materials can reach the hygiene standards and can prevent molds and insects from being produced during storage. At present, China's production of microwave heating equipment has two frequencies of 915mhz and 2450mhz.

Green Raisin

Origin in Xinjiang, the largest origin of raisins in China. Raisins can contain up to 72% sugars by weight, most of which is fructose and glucose. They also contain about 3% protein and 3.7%–6.8% dietary fiber. Raisins like prunes and apricots are also high in certain antioxidants, but have a lower Vitamin C content than fresh grapes. Raisins are low in sodium and contain no cholesterol.  Among individuals with mild increases in blood pressure, the routine consumption of raisins (three times a day) may significantly lower blood pressure, especially when compared to eating other common snacks.
