The project created a new pesticide variety with independent intellectual property rights, fluorine and phosphorus, established a 200 ton/year poisonous fluorine and phosphorus raw drug production device, and innovated the new synthetic technology of pymetrozine and methyl-dimensional salt, and built an annual output of pymetrozine. 1,000 tons of original medicine and 3,000 tons of preparation equipment. Through technological innovation, we have developed 10 new formulations of environmentally friendly pesticides such as 1% pymetrozine sustained-release granules. The research results of the project have been granted 25 national invention patents, and the technical standards such as the “Technical Regulations for the Prevention and Treatment of Rice Black Stripe Dwarf Disease” have been adopted by the Ministry of Agriculture as technical specifications for the prevention and control of major rice pests and diseases. Scientists and technicians have developed a series of field application technologies for innovative pharmaceuticals and environmentally friendly pharmaceuticals through the development of a coordinated system of green prevention and control technologies, such as the prevention and treatment of southern rice black-streaked dwarf virus disease and pyridoxone against rice planthoppers. The researchers innovatively proposed a new strategy for prevention and control of rice virus disease through “immunization activation, pest control and disease prevention, and full prevention and control.” With fluorophosphate and pymetrozine as the core, the integrated planthopper and virus diseases and vector insects were integrated. The technical system of prevention and control and the application of technology for the prevention and control of pharmaceuticals have trained 100,000 agricultural technicians and farmers at the grass-roots level and conducted large-scale prevention and control demonstrations and popularization and application in southern China's rice fields, resulting in significant economic, social and ecological benefits.
