Scientific name Cryptoblabes gnidiella (Milliere) Lepidoptera, Polygonaceae. Aliases Spikeworm, high oysters. Distribution of East China, South China, Central South. It is the main pest in the panicle stage of spring and summer sorghum in Huanghuai Plain.

Host sorghum.

Morphological characteristics Adult body length 8-9mm, wingspan 11-16mm, forewings narrow, purple brown, dark brown dots covered.
