Tractor hydraulic steering gear use matters needing attention

With hydraulic steering tractor, users should pay attention to the following points during use:

(1) Check the threaded connections frequently and tighten them if loose. When the hydraulic steering system is working, there must be no oil leakage at the joints.

(2) Check the liquid level of the steering tank frequently. If it is insufficient, add it as required.

(3) In the course of use, if heavy steering or failure is found, the cause should be carefully searched first. The steering wheel must not be pulled hard, and the steering gear must not be disassembled to prevent damage to the parts. It is forbidden for two people to turn the steering wheel at the same time.

(4) When installing a fully hydraulic steering system, the steering gear should be coaxial with the steering shaft and should have clearance in the axial direction. Check whether the steering wheel is flexible after installation.

(5) It must be ensured that the fluid is clean. Check the filter element and oil conditions frequently for this purpose. Inspection method: Drop a drop of oil on the blotter paper. If the trace of oil has a black center, the oil should be replaced.

(6) After replacing the new oil, the gas in the cylinder should be drained. Exhaust method: Loosen the steering cylinder bolt joint and let the oil pump run at a low speed to deflate until the outgoing oil contains no foam.

Remove the connection between the steering cylinder rod and the steering wheel, turn the steering wheel so that the piston reaches the left or right position (do not stay in the two extreme positions), and then refuel the tank to the specified maximum oil level.

Tighten all threaded connections (do not tighten under pressure) and connect the piston rod. Check whether the steering system is working properly under various working conditions.

(7) The constant flow overflow pump is a precision part and it is generally not allowed to be disassembled. It should be carried out in a clean place during the dismantling and cleaned with clean gasoline or kerosene.
