Working principle and improvement of TLL centrifuge

Abstract: This paper briefly introduces the structural characteristics and working principle of the TLL centrifuge, discusses the differences between the improved TLLA type and the original model structure, and prospects for the application.

1 Introduction
TLL series vertical scraper discharge centrifuge is a product researched and developed on the basis of imported LL3 - 9 centrifuge after several generations of efforts by Tangshan Branch of Coal Research Institute. It has been serialized and has TLL700, TLL900 and TLL1000. Four specifications such as TLL1150. At present, it has become an ideal dewatering equipment for the coal at the coal preparation plant. The model has the advantages of strong adaptability and low product moisture. This paper discusses the structural characteristics, working advantages of the centrifuge and the main features of the improved TLLA type.
2 Structural features and working principle
This type of centrifuge is mainly composed of working part, transmission part, lubrication system and protection system, as shown in Figure 1.

(1) The working part is mainly composed of sieve blue, spiral scraper, bell cover and cloth cone. The conical screen blue is mounted on the bell jar and the bell jar is bolted to the outer shaft. The cloth cone is mounted on the spiral scraper rotor, and the spiral scraper rotor is fixed on the mandrel with bolts and flat keys, and the rotation speed is slightly lower than the rotation speed of the screen blue. The structure of the bell jar and the spiral scraper rotor ensures that the coal particles do not fall into the bearing and facilitate the movement of the coal particles after dewatering. Since the speed of the spiral scraper rotor is slower than the screen blue, the spiral scraper scrapes the coal particles from the screen surface and transports them downward. When the dehydrated coal moves to the bottom of the sieve blue, it has a large kinetic energy. This kinetic energy mostly disappears when the coal and the outlet protection ring hit the wall. The outlet protection ring is made of ductile iron and has good wear resistance.
(2) Transmission part The transmission system of this machine consists of 6 narrow V-belt belts and 2 pairs of helical-toothed cylindrical gears. The vertical motor drives the intermediate shaft to rotate through the V-belt, because the intermediate shaft is equipped with 2 gears with different numbers of teeth. They are respectively engaged with the gears mounted on the outer shaft and the gears mounted on the mandrel (the two gears have the same number of teeth) so that the screen blue and the helical blade rotor are rotated in the same direction with an appropriate slip. The two pairs of gears are ordinary cylindrical helical gears, and the selection of the gear rotation direction partially offsets the axial force generated when the gears work and the axial force caused by the spiral scraper scraping coal, thereby improving the working condition of the bearing.
(3) Lubrication part This machine is lubricated with thin oil. Lubricating oil enters the gear oil pump from the fuel tank through the oil filter, and then enters the multiple oil pipes (oil separator) through the main pressure oil pipe, and then enters the following lubrication points through the four branch oil pipes: 1 upper and outer shaft bearings and upper and lower shafts Bearing; 2 pairs of helical gears; 3 intermediate shaft upper bearings; 4 intermediate shaft lower bearings.
(4) Protection part To ensure the safe operation of the machine, the following protection measures are adopted for this model:
1 The main motor and the oil pump motor must be interlocked so that the main motor cannot be started before the oil pump motor starts.
2 In the lubrication system, an electric contact pressure gauge is used. When the oil pressure is too low (less than 0.04 MPa) or too high (greater than 0.35 MPa), an alarm signal is issued to warn the driver to stop the inspection.
(5) Working principle TLL type centrifuge is the process of separating the solid-liquid mixture by the centrifugal force generated by mechanical rotation. The wet coal passes through the inlet port and enters the space between the sieve blue and the scraper through the cloth cone under the action of centrifugal force. The water and water particles (centrifugal liquid) pass through the material layer, pass through the screen, flow into the sump in the upper part of the machine base along the upper cover, and then exit the machine through the drain pipe provided on both sides of the machine base, the coal particles It is kept inside the sieve blue. Due to the difference in rotational speed between the spiral scraper and the sieve blue, the spiral scraper scrapes the coal particles from the screen and pushes it to the bottom of the sieve blue, thereby discharging the dewatered coal to the machine. In the lower collecting funnel below, this process continues continuously.
3 TLLA centrifuge improvement
According to the use of the site for many years, combined with the actual situation, the Tangshan Branch Centrifuge Teaching and Research Office introduced the TLA-type improved TLLA type in 2000 and put it into use. Compared with the original model, the TLLA centrifuge has a large improvement in structure. Practice has proved that after the TLL centrifuge has been improved, its structure is more reasonable and the operation is more reliable. The main improvements are as follows:
(1) Improvement of the structure of the feed distribution plate (cloth cone). Increase the cone angle of the cloth, increase the upper limit of the feed size, reduce the excessive pulverization of the coal, and increase the feed size of the centrifuge from 13 mm to 25 mm.
(2) Cast iron parts such as upper cover, lower outer casing and base are all changed to rivet welds, which overcomes the disadvantages of high casting rejection rate and long production cycle, thus reducing production costs, reducing the weight of the whole machine, and improving the weight. Market Competitiveness.
(3) In the structure of the base, a support end face is added at the lower end of the gear differential case to increase the rigidity and stability of the whole machine; the centrifuge liquid tank width of the centrifuge is increased with an inclination to ensure Discharge of the centrate and reduce the deposition of solid particles in the tank; the differential acts as a complete part and can be easily removed from the base, eliminating the need for the original part to disassemble the drive during maintenance. .
(4) The lubrication system is changed from passive lubrication to active lubrication. The motor is separately driven by a motor to form a centralized oil supply system. The lubrication is more reasonable. This uses an independent lubrication system to ensure that the lubrication points are fully supplied before the main motor is started. The oil and lubrication oil supply points are changed from 4 to 3, and the lubrication fulcrum of the lower bearing of the intermediate shaft assembly is cancelled.

4 Conclusion
The improved TLLA centrifuge is put into use 2a in the coal washing plant. The effect is good, the product moisture is low, and the maintenance amount is reduced.
