The proper storage of the corn harvester is an important part of extending the service life of the machine and ensuring that the machine maintains stable work efficiency and job quality. 1. Open all windows, covers, and shrouds on the machine. Carefully remove dust, crop residues and dirt from inside and outside the corn harvester. If necessary, it can be partially dismantled, and both inside and outside need to be cleaned.
2. Remove all the belts and wipe them clean. Attach the labels and store them.
3. Remove the chain and place it in diesel or kerosene for cleaning. Apply the oil again. Put it back in place, but do not tighten it.
4. When disassembling and viewing the machine, if parts or parts need to be replaced, replace the spare parts.
5. Anti-rust oil should be applied to all unpainted metal surfaces and places subject to friction during work.
6. Lower the header onto the wood, lift the front and rear axles with jacks, and padded them.
7. Remove the battery for special inspection and storage.
8. Remove the fuel tank and tubing, clean it with diesel oil, replace it, and tighten the port plugs, caps, and fittings.
9. The storage of the engine shall be conducted in accordance with the requirements of the engine instruction manual.
10. Remove the hydraulic oil tank, discharge the remaining hydraulic oil, clean the oil tank, oil suction filter, clean or replace the return oil filter, replace it, and seal it for use.
11. Pay attention to fire prevention, anti-chemical agents or other pollutants.
12. Firmly support the front and rear axles of the corn harvester so that the tires are a little off the ground and the tires are deflated to 0.05 MPa. Check the tire pressure regularly and replenish the air in time. Otherwise, the tires or other components will be damaged.
13. Remove the battery and store it for special use. Charge it once a month. After charging, clean the electrode and apply Vaseline.
14. The machine is not easy to hoist. When transporting the machine to the transportation vehicle, the four tires should be fixed with “8†before and after the rope, and the rear axle should be pulled with wire.
