The concentrates are fed once a day in the morning and evening, and each adult sheep is 0.2-0.5 kilograms each. Feeding should be done regularly to prevent excess or lack of nutrients. Feeding poisonous, mildewed and contaminated feed is strictly prohibited. Give clean drinking water in time. In the summer, it is necessary to return to the sheep early and late, and at noon to allow the sheep to rest and prevent heat stroke. The sheep house should be nailed with screen doors to prevent mosquitoes and flies from biting.
Do a good job of environmental sanitation and disinfection
Summer is the season when bacteria and viruses multiply and spread. In order to prevent the growth and spread of bacteria and viruses, the venues and utensils for sheep sheds and sheep should be kept clean and dry. Every day, the excrement and dirt in the pens should be cleaned and piled up and fermented. Sheep house and utensils are disinfected once a week with 100 toxin disinfectant or Weidao disinfectant. Sheep house and playground ground are disinfected once every half month with 2%-4% fire alkali solution.
Do a good job of immunization
Immune injection is an important measure to prevent and control sheep disease. There are many vaccines currently used for sheep's infectious diseases, and the frequency and time of immunization injections should be reasonably arranged according to the characteristics of various vaccines and the local conditions. Adult goats will be injected with sheep epidemic disease, sheep lice, enterotoxemia, sheep epidemic four joint vaccine and sheep foot-and-mouth disease vaccine each spring and autumn. Pregnant ewes are injected with lamb dysentery vaccine 30-20 days before delivery. Sheep should be injected with sheeppox vaccine before summer, and 6-month-old sheep should be injected with sheep contagious pleuropneumoniae vaccine on time.
Regularly deworming
The parasites of sheep are divided into two types, in vivo and in vitro parasites. Sheep parasites are a common disease and a particularly serious disease in raising sheep. Those suffering from mild disease are frail and lose weight, and growth is hindered. In severe cases, a large number of deaths can result. Therefore, it must be periodically dewormed. The parasites in the spring and autumn of the year were detoxified with albendazole and avermectin. The ectoparasites were rubbed with 1% trichlorfon solution or a 0.05% phoxim solution was used for the medicated bath.
