Finishing and appearance quality, but due to the abnormal changes in the climate this year and the differences in the level of fruit and vegetable application bagging technology, some bagging apples appear to have not atrophy. Now combining with the actual production of apple in Zhaoyang District and the biological characteristics of apples, the reasons for the shrinking of apples in bagging and the prevention and control techniques are briefly described as follows:
First, the reason
(1) Apple orchards with long-term drought and water shortage, weak tree vigor, and apple orchards with poor air permeability, high temperature, and low humidity are prone to the phenomenon that bagging apples will not shrink.
(2) Double-layer paper bags with thick outer layer and resistant to rain and non-calendered paper in the inner layer, and no moisture in the bags. The temperature in the bags during high-temperature weather is high, and some are as high as 50°C. The moisture in the apples flows backwards. In the leaves, it causes the growth of the apple to stop or even shrink.
Second, prevention and control technology
(a) Watering in time. Bagging apple orchard on barren land and hillside land should be watered in time.
(b) Avoid the use of purple and red plastic film bags and double-layer paper bags with non-calendered paper inside.
(3) Strengthen the management of apple orchard. Reasonable load, take branches, take branches, twist tips and other techniques to improve ventilation and light conditions in the orchard, should not be girdling branches.
